Collaborating for over 4 years, URENCO and PRO Vietnam have jointly carried out activities to increase the collection and recycling rates of plastics, packaging, and other recyclable waste to promote the development of a circular economy model. In addition to professional activities, URENCO and PRO Vietnam have coordinated to organize many meaningful programs promoting community and social development, among which, establishing the “PRO Vietnam – URENCO” Scholarship Fund for students of URENCO Company’s employees and workers – who are in difficult circumstances yet still maintain good academic results, is an activity that the two organizations are putting efforts in maintaining. From this program, more students have been assisted and encouraged to overcome financial adversities to excel in their studies, to strive toward building their dreams for a brighter future.

In the past academic year, the children have continuously made efforts in their studies and training, achieving noticeable results. Their intelligence, diligence, determination to overcome difficulties, and eagerness to learn have been clearly demonstrated through impressive figures in their academic records. For the academic year 2024 – 2025, the entire company had 873 children who achieved the titles of excellent students and advanced students, of which 57 children achieved excellent student status for 10 consecutive years from the academic year 2014 – 2015 to the academic year 2024 – 2025.

Ms. Vu Van Ha – Deputy General Director of URENCO affirmed: “The above results are proof of the practical significance of the scholarships. This timely support has helped families and students have additional funds to cover their studies, and serves as a motivation for them to strive for excellent academic achievements during the school year.”
